Now Hiring: Part-Time Kennel Technicians

Do you love animals and want to make a difference in their lives? Putnam County Animal Shelter is currently hiring part-time Kennel Technicians to join our team!

We are having open interviews on Wednesday, January 14th from 10am-2pm

Please bring your drivers license or ID!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining kennels and shelter areas

• Feeding and watering animals

• Assisting with daily care, enrichment, and handling of dogs and cats

• Laundry and general shelter upkeep

• Working as part of a team to ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment

Requirements:

• Must be reliable and hardworking

• Ability to work weekends and holidays

• Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments

• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)

• Prior animal care experience is a plus, but not required
