About
Since January 2007, EnAct Community Action has worked to provide service to low income families and individuals in Boone, Clay, Fayette, Kanawha, and Putnam Counties. Under a new name and leadership our goals remain the same, but we also want to develop new and innovative programs that will help low income families and individuals break the cycle of poverty and in turn help our communities grow.
EnAct's primary funding comes from the Community Service Block Grant through the WVOEO. Operating as a Non-Profit Organization we must depend to some degree upon the generous support and partnerships with community leaders to supplement and enhance our current programs.
Vision: Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other
