Job Summary

TheTechnology Support Professional (TSP)worksin a fast-pacedteam environmentanddemonstratesahigh degree of technicalexpertiseacross a variety of client environments.

Duties& Essential Functions

The TSP’s regular responsibilityincludes:

  • Interacting with clients onthephone and in person
  • Remote help desk support
  • On-site technical support
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across a variety of platforms andprovidingend user support remotely and on-site
  • Accurateandtimelydocumentation of time and service tickets
  • Creating andmaintaininginternal documentation
  • Working as a liaison with technology-related vendors for clients
  • Network cabling
  • Working with all aspects of networkingincludingnetworkconfiguration, installation,support and troubleshooting of layer 3 devicesincluding routers, switches, firewalls, printers, peripheral devices,cabling,VLANs, and WAPs
  • ProvidingWindows server and desktop deployment and support
  • Providing administration and support for client-specific applications and vendors
  • Providingend-point hardware/software/peripheral support
  • Server set up andadministration
  • Configuring,managing,and supportingclient security platforms includingantivirus, patch management, spam filters, intrusiondetectionand data backup management
  • Workingwith Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Networks
  • WorkingwithMicrosoft Windows Environments,Office 365, Active Directory& AzureAD(management, support, migrations, deployment)
  • Workinginvirtual environmentsincludingHyper-V and VMWare
  • Other duties asassigned

  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience with all levels of networking including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, printers, peripheral devices, cabling, VLANs, and WAPs
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience with server set up andadministration
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience working withcybersecurity anddata security protectionssuch asantivirus, patch management, EDR, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Vulnerability Assessments, DNS filtering, email filtering, SOC, SIEMand data backupmanagement
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience working with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Services
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience working in Microsoft Windows Environments including Active Directory
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experience with Office 365 & Azure AD (management, support, migrations, deployment)
  • Demonstratedproficiencyand experienceworking inin virtual environments including Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a variety of platforms and to provide end user support via telephone, remotely, andon-site
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Satisfactory Driving Record

PreferredQualifications

  • Minimum3years' experiencein Information Systems, ComputerScience,and related certificationspreferred
  • Bachelor’s degreepreferred
  • CertificationsincludingMicrosoft, CompTIA, Cisco, etc.
  • Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)experience
  • Networking Experience
  • Remote & On-site technical support experience
