Job Summary
The Technology Support Professional (TSP) works in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrates a high degree of technical expertise across a variety of client environments.
Duties & Essential Functions
The TSP’s regular responsibility includes:
- Interacting with clients on the phone and in person
- Remote help desk support
- On-site technical support
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across a variety of platforms and providing end user support remotely and on-site
- Accurate and timely documentation of time and service tickets
- Creating and maintaining internal documentation
- Working as a liaison with technology-related vendors for clients
- Network cabling
- Working with all aspects of networking including network configuration, installation, support and troubleshooting of layer 3 devices including routers, switches, firewalls, printers, peripheral devices, cabling, VLANs, and WAPs
- Providing Windows server and desktop deployment and support
- Providing administration and support for client-specific applications and vendors
- Providing end-point hardware/software/peripheral support
- Server set up and administration
- Configuring, managing, and supporting client security platforms including antivirus, patch management, spam filters, intrusion detection and data backup management
- Working with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Networks
- Working with Microsoft Windows Environments, Office 365, Active Directory & Azure AD (management, support, migrations, deployment)
- Working in virtual environments including Hyper-V and VMWare
- Other duties as assigned

- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with all levels of networking including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, printers, peripheral devices, cabling, VLANs, and WAPs
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with server set up and administration
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience working with cybersecurity and data security protections such as antivirus, patch management, EDR, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Vulnerability Assessments, DNS filtering, email filtering, SOC, SIEM and data backup management
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Services
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience working in Microsoft Windows Environments including Active Directory
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Office 365 & Azure AD (management, support, migrations, deployment)
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience working in in virtual environments including Hyper-V and VMWare
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a variety of platforms and to provide end user support via telephone, remotely, and on-site
- Valid Driver’s License
- Satisfactory Driving Record
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, and related certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certifications including Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, etc.
- Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) experience
- Networking Experience
- Remote & On-site technical support experience
Physical Demands
- Ability to work behind a desk operating a computer and telephone
- Ability to lift and/or move up at least 50 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
