The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation (SJGF), based out of Bristow, VA, is a non-profit inspired by & in memory of Julia Grace Knight. Julia was born in WV & lived 12 beautiful years inspiring everyone who knew her, read about her & loved her. SJGF currently serves families in both VA and WV. The mission of SJGF is to Bless, Celebrate, and Love children who are seriously ill, have special needs, or are currently facing a medical crisis. SJGF grants wishes that bring joy, fills in gaps other services are unable to fill, and provides support with day-to-day needs for families going through the unimaginable with their child. SJGF has developed several unique programs that ensure the families served receive the support and love they greatly deserve and need. In 2023, SJGF also rolled out the WV Hospital Outreach Program that 'brings sunshine on a rainy day' to families who are being cared for by CAMC Women and Children's Hospital. This program is made possible because of partners in the community (churches, clubs, businesses, families, schools, etc) who host 'packing parties' and fill the tote bags provided with essentials, snacks, toiletries and comfort items geared towards weary and courageous parents whose children are inpatient at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital.
